RURAL WATER E-NEWS …………………………….……….….…………………………….   7/24/2024

Almost everyone in the state got a “hacked” email message from me last week.  Sorry about that.  But the most important message I sent out was a survey that Rural Water is going to use to help develop and guide our association in the future.  Your insights and experience in answering the questions on this survey is extremely important.  Please take a few minutes and go to the link to submit your survey.  And make sure your clerk, Village President, Mayor, and colleagues also take this survey.  And it’s not a hack!  NRWA Cybersecurity Circuit Rider Pilot Program/Study – Formstack

On another note, our National Association has started a campaign of support for USDA-Rural Development.  USDA-RD has improved rural America through the years and at a cost that almost everyone in Wisconsin can afford.  Please read through the information at  Rural Water Strong  to see how USDA-RD has improved Public Health, Sustainability, Economic Vitality and Affordability in rural America and Rural Wisconsin.  Take the pledge ( Pledge — Rural Water Strong ) and help us by writing a letter to your Congressman.  These can be sent to me, and I can forward them to Washington.  This is something you all can take pride in taking part in the supporting in for just a couple minutes of your time!
