Baldwin Announces $86 Million for Clean and Safe Drinking Water in Wisconsin Through Bipartisan Infrastructure Law – Today, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) announced Wisconsin is receiving an additional $86 million through her Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to upgrade water infrastructure and ensure communities have access to clean and safe drinking water. The funding will help communities across Wisconsin protect local freshwater resources, replace dangerous lead pipes, address PFAS and other contaminants, and deliver safe drinking water to homes, schools, and businesses. Oshkosh proposes 2.83% levy increase, $233.5 million operating budget for 2025 budget – According to City Manager Mark Rohloff, the significant increase in the proposed operating budget comes as a result of two major capital projects totaling $30 million each — the Clearwells project at the Water Filtration Plant and tertiary treatment facilities at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
