Now Hiring: Maintenance Supervisor – Wastewater Treatment Plant
Salary Range: $71,156.80- $81,328
Join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor and be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing the equipment at our Wastewater Treatment Plant and Lift Stations. This pivotal role involves supervising and training a team of skilled personnel, ensuring the plant operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plant Maintenance and Upkeep: Plan, schedule, and oversee equipment repair and maintenance. Diagnose equipment defects and estimate repair costs. Supervise installation and testing of new or rebuilt equipment. Inspect contracted maintenance work and manage supplies requisition.
- Employee Supervision: Mentor and instruct maintenance staff. Conduct frequent inspections and take action in emergencies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain inventory, time, and material records. Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience at the journeyman level in electro-mechanical repair work involving pumps, motors, gearboxes, transmissions and related equipment. Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical Maintenance or a related field can be substituted for 2 years of experience.
- Two years of personal computer experience or training.
- At least 2 years of prior supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
- State of Wisconsin Master electrician desired.
- Valid Driver’s License.
