On another note, our National Association has started a campaign of support for USDA-Rural Development.  USDA-RD has improved rural America through the years and at a cost that almost everyone in Wisconsin can afford.  Please read through the information at  Rural Water Strong  to see how USDA-RD has improved Public Health, Sustainability, Economic Vitality and Affordability in rural America and Rural Wisconsin.  Take the pledge ( Pledge — Rural Water Strong ) and help us by writing a letter to your Congressman.  These can be sent to me, and I can forward them to Washington.  This is something you all can take pride in taking part in the supporting in for just a couple minutes of your time!

Wausau leaders are discussing an ordinance mandating lead service line removal. Here’s what the Farmers’ Almanac predicts for Wisconsin’s 2024-2025 winter weather – The almanac, which has released extended weather forecasts using the same astronomical and meteorological formula since 1818, recently published its extended forecast for the upcoming winter, titled “Wet Winter Whirlwind.” It predicts a “cold, wet and white” winter for Wisconsin and much of the Midwest.
