City Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer

City of Princeton, population 1253, is seeking an energetic and creative professional manager to serve as City Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer and manage the municipally owned water, sewer and electric utilities.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or a closely related field and at least 2 years of local government and administrative experience.  A Master’s degree in public administration or closely related field is preferred.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Must have a strong working knowledge of government finance and budgeting, economic development, planning and human resources and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Candidates must demonstrate the ability to engage the City Council, staff and general public to implement policy and strategy and experience in developing annual budgets and long-range financial plans that reflect the City’s vision.  Salary $55,000 to $70,000 DOQ.  Competitive benefit package includes health insurance, life insurance, training, professional memberships, etc.
