Village of Cross Plains, WI ~ Director of Public Facilities
The Director of Public Facilities is a senior, department head-level position responsible for planning, implementing, and directing all public facilities operations within the growing Village of Cross Plains, Wisconsin. The Director will ensure sound construction, maintenance, and service to the public while adhering to all applicable laws and ordinances. While the responsibilities of the position are primarily managerial and administrative, the director is responsible for administering and supervising storm and sanitary sewer maintenance, engineering coordination, streets, and water pumping and distribution.
The successful candidate should have a combination of the following: 2-year degree in Civil Engineering, training in public facility operations, and four to six years of experience in public facilities/public works, including some supervisory experience. The candidate should be licensed or be able to be licensed as a Grade 4 Wastewater Operator and Grade 1 Wastewater Operator with the required sub classes. The candidate should also have a CDL driver’s license and Confined Space Training or the ability to obtain within one year.
The salary range is $70,000-$102,000 depending on qualifications and includes a great benefit package including WRS retirement. The full position description can be viewed here. Applications can be completed online here.
