Kaukauna Utilities is looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our Maintenance Team. This role is hands-on, involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of power plant machinery and equipment. You’ll work with motors, pumps, hydraulic systems, water turbines, and generators to our power generation facilities running efficiently.
In this position, you’ll perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, assist with inspections, and operate equipment like digger derricks, loader/backhoes, and material handling machinery.
Responsibilities also include dam maintenance, welding, and occasional collaboration with outside contractors.
We’re looking for someone with eight years of related experience or completion of a mechanical technician apprenticeship program (or equivalent).
