The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources recently opened the second grant cycle of the Emerging Contaminants in Small or Disadvantaged Communities (EC-SDC) grant program, which provides grants for public drinking water systems to address PFAS or manganese contamination. This program reaches other-than-municipal community (OTM) and nonprofit non-transient non-community (NN) public water systems. The application period closes June 30, 2025, or once funds are exhausted, whichever comes first. Interested applicants can visit the EC-SDC Grant Program for more information. Inquiries can be sent to DNRECSDCGrants@wisconsin.gov.
