Village of Little Chute, WI (Pop. 12,213) is accepting applications for a qualified individual for the position of Operations Manager in the Department of Public Works and Parks, Recreation and Forestry. Little Chute is conveniently located in the heart of the Fox River Valley on the eastern border of the City of Appleton and the Fox River. It is a full-service community, a fantastic place to live, work, learn and play. This position is responsible for coordinating operations and maintenance of the Village’s sanitary sewer system, storm sewer system, streets, parks, forestry, automotive and mechanical equipment. Additional duties include the supervision of foremen and the Village mechanic (including but not limited to hiring, training, and discipline), development of short- and long-range plans, coordination of department activities, fleet and project management. The position organizes emergency call-ins during weather-related events. It is a full-time, exempt role reporting to the Director of Public Works and Parks, Recreation and Forestry Director.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree or higher, and progressively responsible experience in public works, park and forestry operations, including experience in a supervisory capacity, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
