Waterworks Certification Training: Math Basics and O&M Regulations

This training course will help prepare new operators to become licensed and will also help as a great refresher for experienced operators.
8:00 – 11:00 Math Basics: This training session will cover math basics for water utility operators. Basic math concepts and rules will be discussed as well as common conversions, basic geometry, and example problems that are common to a Water utility operator.

11:00 – 12:00 Lunch (on your own)
12:00 – 3:00 Operation and Maintenance Regulations: Regulations from various agencies and levels of government can be confusing and pose a challenge to the success of a water utility if they are not fully understood. Instructors will address the origin of the regulations and give overviews of regulations that water utility operators deal with every day.
