City Utilities of Richland CenterWater Utility is accepting applications to fill the position of a Waterworks Operator. This position is responsible for working within our team, with job duties that include repairing, replacing, and maintenance of all portions of the Utilities water system infrastructure. Work is performed in all-weather conditions as needed. The normal work schedule is Monday – Friday 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Availability for an every other weekend and holiday work rotation is required. Some after-hours emergency call-in is also occasionally required.

Current licensing from the WI DNR is not required, but preference may be given to current licensed Waterworks Operators.  The successful applicant will need to possess both a WI DNR Municipal Waterworks Operator’s License with subclasses of Groundwater and Distribution and a Wisconsin Class A CDL driver’s license within their first year of employment.
